Your note bears repeating. I've read his books, and while wrapped in fantasy guerilla warfare, the bulwark of the message is to inform the reader as to what the Democrats portend for those they hate.

I agree. We were to have been socially neutralized after Hillary’s win — stripped of power in DC, our 501c-3s shut down, silenced on social media, identified personally by social media activities (hi there, all you FReepers) and our guns confiscated for related mental health concerns.
They just KNEW they would be the victors, beyond any possible doubt. Now they’re dejected, frustrated, angry and wanting their pound of flesh.

Not to sound melodramatic, but "we" need to start taking what he talks about seriously, as if one's life depends on it, because in the near future it just might.
Think about it--they go to great lengths with this whole Mueller fiasco because 63 million dared to elect Trump. You think the next time they (and this is not party specific) have control of Congress and the White House they won't hesitate to punish their perceived "enemies"?
Swalwell's comments (nuking people), Ocasio-Cortez' comments (using the power of government to subpoena people), etc., while stupid, betray what they are really thinking. I'm beginning to believe if they could actually act on it, without suffering retaliation, they would.

The 2016 Hate Brigade continues unabated. My brother and I host a little bluegrass jam. It is strictly non-political. The owner of the bistro where we hold it discovered our conservative politics at a different event in town and abruptly cancelled our jam.
She refuses to even speak to us. Now we have to find a new hall to play in -even the lefty players!

A couple of weeks ago, on Facebook, I had a cousin go on an anti-Trump rant, after stating that he voted for him.
There were a few of us the respectfully pointed things out to him.
I found it funny, that I didn’t see response notifications.
So, I went to his page.
Most everything that I had seen from him lately was gone.
Strange....
I went to look him up on my friend list.
Oops...missing.
I went through my moms account and found that he had posted, that he had unfriended 16 people because they were Trump supporters. He wanted to know if their was anyone else who was a Trump supporter, so that he could get rid of them also.
He wanted to know who his true friends were (his words),
and wasn’t going to keep anyone who was an open Trump supporter.
I have unfollowed people because the frequency of their posts, or the content of their posts.
Unfollowing just means their stuff is put on a back burner. You still have direct access to each other when wanted.
But unfriending an entire group of people, simply because they view things differently?
I had seen the every day anger and rage in his regular non political posts.
I can see him allowing that rage to build, and should/when this country hits the tipping point, I see him as gladly taking arms up, to hunt down the non conformists.
Even if they are family or “former” friends.
You make a point that I have been preaching for years. While the fanaticism of the left has been on the rise for years now, it is nothing compared to the threat that islam presents. Note I did not qualify islam by using radical or some other limiting term. The threat is islam ... all of it.
