Sen. Elizabeth Warren is calling out Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder, and this time it has nothing to do with his football team’s name.
In a tweet Saturday, the Massachusetts senator and 2020 presidential candidate used Snyder’s recent purchase of a $100 million yacht as evidence that the super-wealthy could afford to pay her recently proposed wealth tax. As the Washington Post reported, the 305-foot ship is believed to be the first “superyacht” with a certified Imax theater.
“This billionaire NFL owner just paid $100M for a ‘superyacht’ with its own Imax theater,” Warren wrote. “I’m pretty sure he can pay my new #UltraMillionaireTax to help the millions of yacht-less Americans struggling with student loan debt.”

Of course, former MA senator John Kerry famously moored his yacht in RI because he wanted to avoid the steep taxes of MA.
They never want to tax the super wealthy to pay down the debt do they? Always take to immediately fund a voting constituency.
OTOH, JF'nK got to cruise around with much fewer peons in small boats getting in his way.
The only good thing about these DNC-brand Democrats is ... well ... nothing.

A pay raise from being able to soak the next round of "students" even more.
It has to be humiliating to announce for president & 2 days later even the dems could care less. Ouch. So, whatever attention she cann get......and this will last only a few hours.

Remember John Kerry, the former Secretary of State and Massachusetts Senator, the guy who routinely advocated higher taxes but then made sure to protect his own wealth? Not only did he protect much of his fortune in so-called tax havens,he even went through the trouble of domiciling his yacht outside of his home state to minimize his tax burden...
Nothing to say about Bezos, Soros, Kerry, etc..??? Hmmm...

Indeed.
All those very skilled experts that actually build the yachts (and private aircraft and luxury homes as well) will be lost, all those skilled workers thrown out of a job or forced to abandon their skill-set for jobs that less pay as they build lower end products that don’t need the same level of polish and detail work.
Didn’t Carter do something like tax the boat industry and almost destroyed it along with hundreds of jobs?
