I think this is a case for the American people. Not these corrupt representatives. I wish we could have a fair and safe referendum vote. Do we want open borders, or do we not?
Imagine if McConnell were 50% the man Trump is.
We could achieve things approaching miracles.
The fact is, Republicans should have had the wall and a lot more while they controlled Congress. Ryan didn’t want it, so he would only pass it if he knew the Senate wouldn’t, and McConnell refused to get rid of the filibuster rule which meant that it could never pass in the Senate. Trump let them get away with it to avoid a huge intra-party fight, but as it turned out, he should have had that fight before the elections. I believe that Ryan intended for Republicans to lose the house so that Trump’s agenda could be stopped, and that’s why he was getting out. He did all he could to make it happen.
Another enemy of the people heard from. Does Trump have any GOP senators he can count on?

Trump will be acting pursuant to existing statute; it is pretty clear he has the right. There are 31 National Emergencies still active. You never complained about them; all of a sudden you give a damn.

The open-borders globalists won’t go down easily. Too many of them in the house, senate and judiciary, though Trump is restoring constitutionalists to the judiciary as quickly as he can. If Trump does this through his executive or emergency powers, there will be many court challenges to overcome.
The courts are the biggest obstacle, any plan must be able to by-pass court action, or bring it immediately to the USSC.

I will admit that the precedent argument does give me a little bit of concern. If Trump uses national emergency to build the wall will a future liberal president view it as a precedent to use national emergency to ban certain guns, enact certain environmental regulations, or other things that he could never get through Congress?

This is like a tag team relay race when dems run out of steam opposing the president the reps grab the baton and run with it. I think it is quite obvious that neither party gives a damn about the American people. Neither side cares that we are being replaced by third world, ill-educated and non-skilled voters.
I am sick to death of both parties and sick to death of those who abandon this president so easily. Open your eyes, he is one man fighting the entire establishment!!!
They'll do that no matter what Trump does or doesn't do. It's a sunk cost.
I've been posting that for days, to no avail. Seems at least a third of Freepers are just salivating at the prospect of some circuit court judge trying to stop Trump with an illegal injunction.
