Mueller served as a U.S. Marine in Vietnam who came under heavy enemy fire. That’s the story anyway. Also he’s a former FBI Director. Despite what he’s doing now, he does deserve respect for that.

“...he does deserve respect for that...”

Once a Marine always a Marine...unless and until they betray the Corps. He did.

No, he doesn’t deserve respect for his term as FBI Director. Ever looked at his actions as director? He was corrupt as can be and abused his power. Read Louie Gomerts summary of about ten cases under Mueller that show that what he is doing now is no different than his abuse of power as Director.

I give respect to everyone for their military service, and Vietnam was a nightmare for too many of our best, but it doesn't have any bearing on unethical behavior you choose to participate in years later. Also, being an FBI director is a political appointment. I honestly don't hold those kinds of positions in any more regard than I do any other position in society - particularly in law enforcement in which there are a ton of people who put their lives at risk out on the streets.

By being complicit in an administration that denigrated law enforcement (his time in the Obama administration), he defined himself as undeserving of respect from the law enforcement community. Comey was an FBI director also, and he doesn't deserve unqualified respect just for that either.

Mueller did to Whitey what he is now doing for the DNC and Hillary.

Stood against a wall in front of a Marine Rifle Squad is the respect he 'deserves'.

That’s a joke right? You’re really kidding when you say that? That $hitball Indian who’s been the center of the Covington Catholic Church kids debacle was a Marine too. All Marines, sadly, are not honorable men who revere the Constitution.

Wasn’t Lee Harvey Oswald also a marine? Mueller is either corrupt or incompetent. I hope he rots in hell for what he has done to this country.

"Despite what he’s doing now, he does deserve respect for that.

Abuse of power while coordinating a soft coup negates any recognition of respect.

The Clinton campaign used a foreign agent while coordinating with Russian sources to influence a presidential campaign. Amazing how few see the irony in that.

Further, the DNC, Alexandria Chalupa and the Ukraine Foundation coordinated the headline that brought Paul Manafort down August 14 2016

Oh yeah, by the way . . . that Ukraine collusion with the DNC's Alexandria Chalupa Ukrainian ambassador Valery Chaly (who initially denied) aides Oksana Shulyar and Andrii Telizhenko and the Ukrainian Anti-Corruption board was found to have violated the law.

Yup!...Every Veterans Day he should be allowed to speak .......from prison.....
It might remind him of the oaths he took so lightly...
