A decade ago I contacted a Jewish friend after having some trouble with the ADL verifying some data. At that time Abe Foxman headed the operation, and had done so for years. My friend told me that the ADL was a shadow of its former self and Foxman himself was a weak reed and not to be depended upon. She was right, of course, and now I see this:

I see. Yes, ADL appeared to go straight downhill during his regime there. Its too bad because a meaningful active effective ADL is sorely ( and increasingly? Needed nowadays, particularly to counter the anti- semitism exuding ( again, alas!) from the far Left end of the political spectrum
