That "Dem Mafia" is riven with factional disputes. Ocasio-Cortez is merely a front for one of those factions. By herself, she is nothing at all. And she is quite replaceable.
Her backers are serious about replacing the current leaders of the Democrat party with their own people, and they won't play any nicer than the Pelosi factions. The outcome is not yet settled. Things should get very interesting soon.
