At least 1,500 private jets are expected to descend on Davos and nearby airports in Switzerland this week as the international financial and political elite gathers to talk about global climate challenges.
That would be up from the more than 1,300 aircraft movements seen at last year’s forum, despite climate change registering as the top risk factor identified for the global economy in a survey of World Economic Forum (WEF) movers and shakers last week.
Sir David Attenborough, a lead speaker this year, has already stated that climate is the issue of our time.

for 1,500 jets....you can bet that over half of them are sitting at least 500 miles away. Some might have flow on back to their starting points. It would be curious to be there on x-day when everyone starts to leave and you have planes landing every ten minutes to pick up their VIPs and immediately leave.

But they are more important that us, and know what’s best for the world.
They are allowed a bigger “carbon footprint” because in the long run they help us all.
The Lear jet leftists expect to form the core of the global Inner Party. There they will continue to enjoy the finest foods and most advanced gadgets the world has to offer, while deciding your fate for you.
If you work very hard and show them your unwavering loyalty you may be permitted to join the global Outer Party. You will be allowed occasional servings of meat and air conditioning, on a rationed basis.
The rest of us will eat beans and swelter, for the good of the planet.

Looked pretty chilly there in Davos this AM on CNBC. Maybe they could use a little warming.
Couldn’t we stuff them all on the same jet to Antarctica? Except for Trump of course.

Wow, Davos is many times as expensive as the Super Bowl!

Every world “leader” in Trump’s absence will be elbowing for airtime to talk down to Trump and America.
Big Media will oblige, and little else will occur.
When 1500 private jets go to one place like this ir is to accrue power and or money. It is an investment. It is not philanthropy or charity.
Those are all Gulfstreams.
This crew is the most dangerous ruthless threat to a free world. They are who actually pull the strings everywhere including here.
No “imagining” to it... They do... And have been for hundreds of years. These characters represent the old blue blood lines here.
