Ocasio-Cortez is one of these “purist” types, and she’s not shy about attacking fellow liberal/radical types who just aren’t radical enough.
The Democrats may well get a civil war going, between older or old line liberals, and the radical types for whom it’s not enough to be with them most of time, but who expect purity.
