There was the Medici clan who confined themselves mainly to accumulating power, fornicating like tom cats and looting whatever they could. IOW, like the Clinton crime family.

But I don't think even they pushed toxic politics to the extent which Pope Frank does. Is there a Papal historian out there who cares to compare and contrast?
