Good evening, Luv...too much fog to even see the sky.
Is it purty at your house?

I hear ya! I like it better when I can watch it on the webcams. LOL!
Guess I’d better head out. My early morning...up before the alarm went off and not Peache’s fault for a change...is catching up with me. See ya mañana! The moon was gorgeous. Too bad the frigid weather and darn clouds kept us from getting good pictures.

Ouch! Awake before the alarm went off? That stinks. Even more so since you can’t blame Peaches. LOL
It also stinks that we and so many others got ripped off on seeing the eclipse tonight. At least we got a glimpse, and it was online for our viewing pleasure but that’s not the same. Oh well.
Sleep well. I hope tomorrow’s a good day for you.

WHEW! Good that you didn’t have wind with those temps! They’re brutal enough without it!
I think the wind here has slowed down a little but since I haven’t been back out since I tried to view the eclipse, I don’t know. Not interested enough in freezing again to find out. LOL
I hope nothing unexpected is thrown at you at work today. It would be nice if you could just deal with what’s already on your plate for a change.

Kathy, thank you for posting this about Desmond. He was a family friend on my Mother’s side and he deserves all the recognition we can give him for the service he gave us.

Yes I knew Desmond. He was a great guy and always watching out for others. Actually he started me on an accidental journey where I was fortunate enough to also meet the following MOH winners:
Jimmy Dolittle.
Greg Boyington.
Audie Murphy.

Brrrr.....but thank goodness there was no wind. Of course, it’s expected that Alaska would be cold....not Tennessee. LOL! Stay warm and stay safe to and from work!

Not yet, Early Birds...
....but soon it will be.
Of course, this is a holiday.
That makes it better for some of you.
Monday is always my Saturday.
Quiet, uneventful and no stress.
Hope it's that way for you, too!
Remember Martin Luther King. RIP
Y'all have a Mahv'lus Monday!
....and a Wonderful Week!

With a wind chill 'at noon still 18 below zero' in Syracuse NY, this poor guy had to shovel a path to the Dumpster for construction workers.
