JFK was Catholic. Is she saying the American people were wrong to elect him?

I am not positive, but it’s possible, they are referring to current Louisiana Senator John Kennedy.

Yes they are. But Senator Kennedy was arguing against Hirono and Harris. I went back and saw a clip of his questioning.
