I have zero knowledge about how Trump was such a successful business man in a town like NYC, but common sense tells me he was not a Conservative purist when it came to making deals, and finding lawyers to help him navigate in that town’s shark-infested swamp.
Only town with a deeper swamp and meaner sharks is D.C., and
so far Trump has proven himself to be pretty good at navigating our “ship of state” through them.

Let me start by saying I Absolutely trust President Trump. I also believe we will NEVER deport the Dreamers. It just isn't going to happen. There will be a legal method for them at some point in the future.
The bed-wetting purists who love to pontificate without having to actually fight for this will never get 100%, but with President Trump we will get most of what we need.
In this order:
1. A Border barrier--wall or iron 30 foot fence (just like the Broder Patrol wants).
2. A end to the Visa Lottery.
3. An end to Chain Migration.
4. E-Verify.
5. Changes to Merit-based legal migration with a reduction to 250K per year.
Right now, we have more than 1 MILLION LEGAL immigrants arriving per year.

His talk about no big push to remove the (artificially small quote as to the number of) illegals here now IMO makes it pretty clear he’s talking a broader amnesty.
With Jared and Pence negotiating on this, only a sellout should have been expected and it looks like that’s what we’re getting. I of course hope I am wrong, but I disagree with you on blind obedience to any elected official.
