You keep saying that I know nothing about economics or human behavior. It's insulting. Everything you say about many of those in debt is true. The problem is not that it's allowed (I'm not opposed to survival of the fittest). It's encouraged as the norm. Economics education is close to non-existent.

Of course, there are people who don't fall into the debt trap. You can argue that "it's their fault" for those who do, and in many cases it is. But that doesn't solve the problem that we now have a few generations who've never been held accountable for their decisions.

No argument about that. People and groups such as unions were given advantages to buy their votes. As soon as the gov started making it acceptable to not be self-sufficient, there was less of an outcry about the ever-expanding control all governments have over our lives.

Maybe it's an inevitable cycle. Governments get too large and countries too powerful and they fail. When they do so, pockets of civilization will do well with strong local traits, others won't. One can't help but suspect the US is beyond saving. That's why states rights and maintaining the integrity of the US population should've been priorities. With that, more localities will have a chance of survival when it all comes tumbling down.

Not all of them were executed. Many died in famines. Caused by the government and the party to be sure, but “executed” isn’t quite right.
