They can vote for President when they reside in and register to vote in a US state. And news from and about the Island is a potent influence on many Puerto Ricans who live on the mainland US and vote. With exceptions, they are a heavily Democratic voting bloc.

I think all these politicians are going to PR for classes on how to milk more money out of the guberment since PR received millions and virtually nothing was given to the people.
Second class is to learn better ways to convince low IQ voters they need to vote for them.
Third advance class: Where to hide the cash and other goodies for their own use without being caught.

Fauxcahontas going to Puerto Rico? That's sure to get the attention of the Governor of New York City, Andrew Cuomo, who will not like her being in part of his domain. He hasn't officially declared for President yet because he's been too busy positioning himself to the left of every other leftwing kook— his latest being the demise of plastic bags—but this might put him over the top.
