If you use any semiautomatic guns, the bump stock ban is very bad for you.
The bump stock ban twists the clear words of the National Firearms Act of 1934. It takes property that the government said was legal, multiple times. It sets up the case for taking all semiautos.
Gun Owners of America has total credibility on this issue. And they don’t even have to mention bump stocks in their opposition of Barr, because he advocated various bans on firearms in common use in the 1990s.

A categorical ad hominem fallacy does not address the matters of record on Barr that are problematic.
I watched the grillings for the position - heard something totally different...he called the 2nd Amendment an inviolable right of the People to keep and bear arms...mentioned there are some mentally ill enough that it would be proper to, with due process, deny them.
Barr during his "41" years was in on all the corruption that was Saudi Arabia before MBS took over. He knows all the players who finally got sick and tired of it all and tasked MBS to clean it all up.
He can help Trump keep MBS in place and you better believe that Trump already has a deep/huge file on Barr.That's why he's there unless I missed something. If I did let me know.

I think it is a gangs plus mental health problem and not a guns problem and until such time as people are willing to get rid of the gangs and seriously help people with mental health issues, we are always going to have serious violence with guns but that is just me.

The problem is that there are already plenty of laws to address the situation you mention. The new laws proposed DO NOT provide due process. There are already incidents on the books to prove it.
