Can’t agree with the French Revolution. It was nothing like the American Revolution, which led to a lawful, Constitutional society; rather, it proceeded through Terror, slaughtered a lot of non-elites (e.g. the 100,000+ peasant Catholics of the Vendee) and its fanaticism was inherited with no dilution, straight, by the Bolsheviks.
