What?! Boulderites ignoring their city council and violating and endangering hundreds of children in the process? No way huh? Either that or there really are only 342 ARs in the city.

So-called pro-gun Democrats are a textbook example of cognitive dissonance. As well as being blithering idiots.

I know an AR-15 owner and businessman who bitches constantly about high taxes, regulations, government corruption. He owns several AR-15s here in New York with stocks and clips that are now illegal. I point that out to him and he says “let then come and take them!”

He was also a big Democrat and Hillary supporter and Trump hater.

I’ve told him that he’s insane and needs to get his head checked.

There is no paper trail. No records are kept, but it sure sounds like a test run for a gun registry. Only 342 people have certified their rifles.

According to the Boulder law, when you 'certify' your 'assault weapon,' you are given two copies of your certificate. You are supposed to keep one with the firearm at all times, and safely store away the second copy to replace the first if it becomes lost or damaged.

If you lose both certificates, the police cannot and will not issue a replacement, and your possession of the firearm becomes illegal.

Cost for the certification was $20 for the first firearm, and $5 for each subsequent firearm.
