The media elite have clearly waded into the political fray to wage war against this President. But have they accomplished anything beyond cementing their reputation as political partisans, not objective journalists?
Trump has set out to destroy them.

It has mattered, preventing a lot of swing voters from supporting him or supporting him more vigorously. It’s just not enough to undermine him.

The media helped the Democrats in the mid term elections. But it was blatant, large scale voter fraud that allowed the Democrats to win.
We lost the House because 42 cowards refused to run to retain their seats. They put their cushy retirement checks before the good of the country. They deserve nothing but scorn.
The MSM during the years of both Bush’s presidency was successful in the destruction of both by bashing them every minute of everyday. Especially so with Papa Bush in the fact that he lost his re-election bid.
They are hoping to repeat those glory days that began with the victory over Nixon.
The Anti Trump Hate Networks can now attract Democrats announcing to be President. The more they hate Trump, the more they attract a hate Trump audience. The networks who hate Trump and attract a hate Trump audience, can pop popcorn each night and enjoy a good hate fest, before turning in to enjoy bad dreams.
Anyone whose opinion of Trump has been influenced by the mainstream media doesn’t understand either one.
I agree that it matters. I’m just really quite sure that he is going to be able to destroy the fake news media
I think it matters in the sense that millions like me by now have at least as much confidence in ALT NEWS outlets as we do ABC,CBS, NBC, NPR, CNN, NYT, Wapo, MSNBC and so on.
The lowest of the low in the ALT NEWS world is as reliable as any of the aforesaid media. So, in effect, MSM is slowly each day, committing suicide.
I agree, it does matter.
Not as much as the MSM and their owners would like, but its had its effect.
