Based on what? Dramatic sayings? He resisted Trump on Trannies. He let women in combat units remain. He let drag queens perform on Navy ships that are ramming into things. He has consistently opposed Trump’s plans to extricate us from the Syrian debacle. The childless never married dude has no problem with homos and stalled Trump’s order ref surveying out all trannies!
He prosecuted Marines who fought exactly the way he talked with that “pleading with tears in my eyes” speech. He exerted command influence to bias the trials against them.
He was silent when Admirals and Generals spoke against him. He let a lesbo run the US Air Force academy.
And then, when Trump stopped listening to his excuses and ordered the withdrawl from Syria, did he stay there and do his best to execute the policy for the benefit of his men? No, lapdog wrote a pissy letter about how America is no better than our alliances and ran away.
Too bad men deployed can’t just pack up and leave when they disagree with a policy.
He fell victim to the childish notion that he would SET national policy rather than execute it well.
BTW, he is smiling a little too much in that photo with Hillary if you ask me.

Mattis had 40+ years of service, has an outstanding record, the military liked the guy and he knows the Middle East and how to deal with those assholes.

Looks like Trump has slowed his Syrian troop withdrawal significantly. He should have listened to Mattis on Syria and he should have never announced his plan in the first place.. that was dumb at best.
