Have they dropped this? The Allegheny County DA informed them that they would lose this on appeal, based on previous court decisions. Looks like pointless social justice posturing.

Yup. Virtue Signaling has taken priority over picking up the trash and fixing potholes.

He also warned them that they are probably committing a criminal offense if they move forward with this. The State preempted local cities from doing this stuff and violating that section of the Code is a Misdemeanor.

They are just farting out of their mouths again.
I just got my license to sell firearms from the AGH Sheriff office last week. I’m a class 07 FFL just north of the city and keep tabs as best I can.
They try this and they will lose more business than they know that is firearms related.
AR’s are hot cakes around my parts with young men turning 18 and getting their first rifle.
Besides which; not much a city counsel can do when in PA it is legal to sell “long rifles” (including AR’s) to each other privately w/o PICS (PA’s version of NICS).
