A local Boston radio station has a quiz every day, $1000.00 prize if they get all correct. The woman today didn’t and her consolation prize was 2 tickets to The Who concert at Fenway Park.

To say that she was thrilled would be an understatement.

Do 20 year olds rock anymore? It's been my impression that rock music pretty much died out after the '90s and the aging of the grunge bands. The young men who once were the core of rock music fandom moved on to rap.

I'm glad fans of Townsend and Daltrey will get to see them live once more. I once got to see The Who as a kid in the '70s, and I'll stick with that great memory.

The Who was just about the greatest rock band of the mid 60's,as were the Stones.I would have loved to see them back then.I still listen to their great stuff from that era.

But I have literally no interest seeing them...or hearing them...today.

Thanks. I have just passed the news on to my youngest brother — a rabid Who fan with about twenty concerts to his credit since his first one in 1982. He will no doubt be at several on this tour list. He now has the time, means, and contacts to travel to the best venues and get a seat in the first row or two — and then talk endlessly about the experience as if he was still a teenager.

Seems like yesterday (1989) they had their “farewell” tour. Maybe they can get Lynyrd Skynyrd to open for them like the Quadrophenia tour. Yawn
