That is incredible. Did the 1/4 recommending that have other solutions as well and GFM was a part of the solution? Or was that their only recommendation?

Is the GFM recommendation and automatic F?

It used to be that families would come together to help each other.

Not so much anymore.

Anna Cory, a furloughed research librarian for the Environmental Protection Agency, said the shutdown has caused financial difficulties that make her feel like her life is in limbo.

"It is difficult. I was just recently engaged on January 2. My fiance and I were planning to buy a house," she told CNN. "Just recently we started house shopping. But we've put that on hold because the bank does not take a friendly eye to seeing a zero on one's pay stub."

Poor, poor baby. Buying a HOUSE right after getting engaged and whining about putting her plans on hold. F-You darling. Go live in an apartment for five years and THEN think about buying a house like most of us did. The sense of entitlement among these a$$holes is really disappointing, but not surprising.

“... are they going to refund the folks that contributed to their go fund me payouts?”

LOL...right. They see this as a GIFT, not a LOAN.

But you knew that.

They can cry me all the rivers in the world.

Just like your friends, not one worthless gov-co drone lifted a finger for me or most people I knew who were cut or wound up in crap jobs to survive because the good ones dried up in the private sector.

I’ve been penniless before in my life, mostly because of my own stupidity. Those times were very brief. I picked myself up somehow and I NEVER PANHANDLED.

At some point I would not be surprised if the peasant’s 401ks are appropriated by gov-co.

I’m one of those 401k peasants.

From the article, emphasis mine:Can't you just smell the misery? These are some of the highest paid workers in the world. You'd think they'd have the sense to have an Emergency Fund set up, especially since President Trump is President.

Shutdown have happened before and shutdowns will happen in the future. Wake up people.

It’s a good thing the MSM is constantly reminding me how awful things are because of the government shutdown.
Otherwise I would have never noticed!

It's an opportunity to re-accomplish for a C.

Its a bit stiffy seeing as it will be anther 6 weeks before their income is impacted enough as to set them below what most Americans make doing the same jobs. That is assuming they dont get back pay. If they do get back pay has congress almost certainly will give them. They really are on a 3 week vacation.

They WILL get back pay. Congress took care of that already.

I'm betting that 99% are lovin' it.
