Cable news should keep booking as many freshman Democrats as possible. It seems they’re the only ones capable of telling the truth about their party’s intention on immigration.
In an interview Monday on CNN, freshman Rep. Katie Hill, D-Calif., admitted that she’s in favor of building some new southern border wall barrier, but that her Democrat colleagues in Congress are refusing to offer any funding for it because it would force them to go back on their repeated claim that the wall is racist.
Asked by anchor John Berman what she would say to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., who has rebuffed any negotiation with President Trump for a border barrier, Hill said what everyone needs to understand: The debate over a wall barrier has boiled down to nothing more than a time-wasting semantics issue.
“Well, first of all, I don’t think [Trump] said some kind of new barrier. I think he said ‘the wall,’” she said. “And I think that’s a really important distinction because, again, the connotation around the wall has so much to do with the hateful rhetoric that he’s been spewing for at this point years.”
This was, in essence, a confession that the wall has become an issue of principle, not practicality, for Democrats.

Elected Democrats are willing to let American Citizens DIE, to prevent Trump from having a political win, and to protect non-American citizens whose votes can be harvested for Democrats.
Think about that for a second.
First, Mexican is not a race... Wrong agreement they used. Second, looks like they have painted themselves into a corner... Third, I am willing to see them do that again, and again.

The wall Nancy Pelosi built around her property is more racist than a wall built around our southern border would be.
The purpose of a border wall is to keep foreign nationals from illegally entering our country. The wall around Nancy’s mansion, on the other hand, is to keep her fellow citizens from walking up to her front door and possibly burglarizing her home. Since the crime of burglary is eight times more prevalent among Blacks than Whites, building a wall around one’s home has obvious racist implications.
It’s the same reason they can’t accept or work with Trump. They convinced themselves of this lie that he is a racist sexist xenophobe. Now they can’t get themselves out of the corner they painted themselves into. This explains perfectly why the left are so wound up about Trump. They believe the nasty things they said about him during the campaign, which are things they would not have associated with him back in 2014 and before. They are brainwashed by their own propaganda.
Unmoored from truth, morality or reality;
it grows harder to steer a larger group of people.
You can’t fool all the people, all the time.
The US Democratic Party has once again liberally painted itself into a corner. Typically they prefer to Wag the Dog to get out of these jams.
