Two years ago I got the skitters of shaving, and grew a full beard. Voila! No more shaving. Every two or three weeks when I get my buzz cut, the barber trims my whole beard back to one half inch with the clippers. Why did I wait so long?! Free at last!

purchased. Umm...about the time HRC was
first lady and promoted her homemade cookies.
It seemed every woman's
magazine in the US had her mug on the cover
and biased on her side of
the "Right Wing Conservative" theory.

Fortune will soon go the way of
Holiday and Life, not to mention the numerous
Hollywood star magazines
(Screen Star, Hollywood, etc.)

And instead of Gillette shaving cream, use Barbasol.

My wife doesn't care for the scent of Barbasol. My brand was Colgate, until it was discontinued after 100 years or so. I guess I was the last guy buying it. I was using Gillette Foamy Barber Shop scent, then regular after they discontinued that! Noxzema used to make a good shaving cream until it was sold off and is now a poorly performing economy brand. On top of that, 90% of the garbage on the shelves now are gels, not a foamy cream.

I had just gone back to Gillette blades again after using an electric for several years - I am so done with them after this.

Just went to Harry's and got ordered one of their razors. You can get started pretty cheap and I heard they're good:

I must be the only dinosaur left who not only uses Barbasol but remembers the ad in Field & Stream (”says Singin’ Sal, the Barbasol gal”) the Noxcema ad with the Swedish model “take it off, take it all off”, etc.

Tried a shave gel because we were flying to a cruise. Yecchh!!

Gillette has really jumped the shark this time.
