No, you’ve given false information. It was Rep. Steve King of Iowa: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3431441/posts

The title of that is...

Rep.(Steve) King: Trump needs to reach out to the conservatives (video)

Which hardly equates to "trying to kill his nomination."

Here is the truth of the matter which you can't handle...

Steve King affirms support for Trump at top of Republican ticket Oct 11, 2016

Long Island Rep. Peter King among Republicans horrified by Donald Trump Mar 01, 2016

Do you remember how tentative Trump’s nomination was during May and June of 2016? Reflect on it for a moment.

Keep in mind—the deep state is more subtle than any beast of the field.

They would never have King try to pull something obvious. No. A much more effective tactic would be for King to send the subtle message that he—conservative icon Steve King of Iowa—didn’t think Trump was conservative enough. Right at what they thought was his most vulnerable hour—before the convention.

The reason this assault on Trump didn’t work is it was planned and executed according to the ways of the old system. In that old war, the war of conservative against liberal. But sure enough, the deep state’s worst nightmare had already come true. The political power was in the hands of their deadliest enemy—the American patriot.
