And it must be global warming. Buy your carbon credits with Al Gore, and this crisis goes away.
All that new water and...the shoreline a mile from my house is still right where it was 20 years ago
Darn, was hoping to get closer to the beach
Penguin extinction. Film at 11.
Meltage before Algore invented gorebal warning doesn’t count
Isn’t this an article from the BozoPost? Hmmmmm...
the ice is melting in my lemonade drink but the lemonade level is staying the same. what gives?
Pardon me while I remain utterly skeptical of 99% of these watermelon hysterics.
(It takes about 360 billion tons of ice to produce one millimeter of global sea-level rise.)
More bull s-it and LIES! https://earthsky.org/earth/volcano-under-pine-island-glacier-worlds-fastest-melting
“...The West Antarctic Ice Sheet (WAIS), which includes the PIG, sits on top of the West Antarctic Rift System that includes 138 known volcanoes. It is difficult, however, for scientists to pinpoint the exact location of these volcanoes or the extent of the rift system, because most of the volcanic activity occurs below kilometers of ice...”
PLEASE believe us and panic while there’s still time! (before our lies are even more obvious)
Good. I needed ice cubes for our party during the summer time..
It’s not scientific without measurment error ...
These guys are Chris MooneyBozo and Brady DennisBozo.
I believe global warming is happening, but naturally. There have been numerous cooling and warming trends in the long history of Earth, long before man ever inhabited the planet. This is about a power grab and money for the left. Fat Algore certainly played global warming as his own personal Ponzi scheme!
The Antarctic lost 40 billion tons of melting ice to the ocean each year from 1979 to 1989.
**********************************************
And how much NEW ICE was made elsewhere in Antarctica during this time.
Yeah, but the ice gain has octupled.
Actually. this is opposite of what I have been reading lately. It’s building up.
> Its not scientific without measurement error ... <
You beat me to it. The article says that “That figure rose to 252 billion tons lost per year beginning in 2009...”.
Well, what’s the uncertainty here? It could be something like +/- 300 billion tons. Then the above quote would be meaningless.
It’ll melt a lot faste when the earth tips over with the magnetic North changes
