I really want to know—from you or a lawyer familiar with Constitutional law or anyone else who knows—at what point does a person become ineligible for Congress based on espoused ideas, associations, actions?
Never, though the House or Senate can expel a member. Or refuse to seat them. It's against the law to provide support to a designated terror group like Hizbollah. Not suggesting either of them are. Whic might get a member expelled. but ineligible or disqualified, that's up to voters or the particular chamber.
