Contractors really lose money during shutdowns.

I wonder if Departments who funnel Government money to Leftist organizations were deliberately left in the unfunded 25%, to starve them of funds. Make them layoff all their shadow campaign workers and front groups?

That might make the Dems squeal and deal.

RE: Dems struggling to help low-wage contractors harmed by shutdown

Simple solution, tell Nancy Pelosi to approve the $5 Billion for the Wall. How hard is that?

Anytime I see the word “dem” and “struggling” in the same sentence, I get all kind of giddy and happy.

Government workers are normally immune from the stress of economic ups and downs. EVERYONE struggles but Washington DC and Government workers.

I think it’s high time they felt some economic pain. It still isn’t close to what folks in private sector suffer. They will NOT lose a job and will be paid for time missed.

[Got to hand it to the Dems, always looking out for the little people.]

Unless it’s America citizens that suffered, especially under Obama.

Along with their RINO buddies.

So they hate a President that’s for Americans and wants a wall to protect Americans. They also hate that the President is opposed to the New World Order.

Let the rest of the world pour money into the Paris Accords.....

Like the “little people” whose not government employed parents were stupid enough to enroll their kids in day care centers located in federal buildings that are now closed. I wonder how many days work they will loose before they come up with alternative day care?

My brother made me a contractor (he’s a cheapskate), so I can’t get unemployment when he stopped paying me.

In other words, the illegal alien contractors who are undercutting their American competition, one of the reasons we need the wall. The Democrats are on the foreigners’ side against the vital interest of low-wage Americans.

Let me get this straight...

3.7 million contractors
Let’s say they’re able to figure out paying 3/4 of them

2.775 million contractors

The average yearly wage is $52,775
https://www.indeed.com/salaries/Government-Contractor-Salaries
Two weeks pay = $2030

$2030 x 2.775M = $5.63 billion

Conclusion: 2 weeks of paying people for nothing costs more than the Wall

If Schmuckie and Dingbat would give Trump a few crumbs from the table these poor souls would be paid.

It’s called ‘unemployment compensation.’

Years ago I worked for a small business (first job) & every year at Christmas they would lay EVERYONE off for two weeks, no pay. Back then you had to be unemployed for at least one week to qualify for benefits. We all filed & got at least some money for the 2nd week.

If this goes on for a while, I’m sure they’re all eligible.

Dems struggling to help low-wage contractors harmed by shutdown from their posh vacation resorts:

Senator 1: We gotta help them low-wage contractors somehow, what can we do?

Senator 2 : I just gave all my loose change to the bartender gal - you know, the one you had up last night.

Senator 3: How’d you find her?

Senator 2. An excellent mixologist, if you know what I mean.

Senator 1: We could start a go-fund-me page.

Senator 3: Yeah. Great idea, but we all know how you’d use the funds ...

Imagine you make $44,000 a year and a bill comes in to fix the gate between you and your neighbors yard. The bill is a paltry $57.00 ...
This is what the demo are refusing president trump on to build a wall...a meager percentage of the whole bill and they are holding up pay for workers! Demi’s are bastards!,,

Their lardships, Chuck and Nancy will graciously disburse largess to these peasants, so long as they know their place and keep to it, happily earning crap wages at union rates.
