Freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) took aim at her critics among fellow Democrats on Friday after a number of lawmakers voiced concerns about her governing style.
Linking to an article featuring the Democrats' worries, the New York Democrat shrugged off the criticism with a line from Alan Moore's "Watchmen" comics, and the 2009 movie based off the graphic novels.

I just love her so much. She’s a gift.
It’s a great quote from a great movie. While most of us are laughing, her peers are lapping it up. In many ways, she is their Donald Trump.
That hoochie sure has a high opinion of herself, doesn’t she?
Her audacity is equaled, and surpassed only by her stupidity.
In many ways, she is their Donald Duck.
The obvious explanation is that men have literally never seen a woman in her 20s in the halls of Congress before. She’s attractive, telegenic and good at social media. She dances outside her Cannon House office. Conservative men are confused at being drawn to this bright rising star in the Democratic Party while loathing everything she stands for.
But that doesn’t fully explain the fervor with which conservatives hang on her every word, waiting for her to slip, and dig through her past for any feeble sign that she isn’t who she says she is. There’s an existential, panicked tinge to the behavior here ― what you might call “AOC Derangement Syndrome.” Indeed, some experts say conservative men are obsessed with Ocasio-Cortez because they’re threatened by her.

I assume you mean that she's a gift for people who fear mob rule and the US becoming Venezuela.
I do really like her. We've been hijacked by political correctness and "offensive speech" restriction. We've lost our freedom of speech, which is a loss of freedom of thought and freedom to bring up disagreement. A silver lining to this scatter-brained woman with a delightful personality being in the House just might be that being outspoken and controversial (thus thought-provoking) just might become acceptable, indeed desirable, again.

It really shows her immaturity for all to see.
If she lives long enough, she will look back at this time with great embarrassment. But most revolutionary “leaders” are executed by their own comrades before they turn 40.
I predict the same fate for her after the USA becomes Venezuela.
