I live in Illinois, as well. Aside from Chicago and Cook County, Illinois is rather conservative. However, with the new general assembly just being sworn in, which gives the Democrats a veto-proof majority under the thumb of the utterly corrupt Assembly Speaker Michael Madigan; and the equally corrupt new Democrat governor, billionaire trust-fund baby J.B. Pritzker (set to be sworn in on Monday), we are all holding our breath to see how bad things get.
Explains whY they want us to be a Democracy and not a Constitutional Republic.

After the 2018 elections, even the 2nd and 3rd ring suburbs are turning a shade of blue.

The rail will end up in Eden Prairie. That way the skinnies from Cedar/ Riverside can meet all their cohorts from the western burbs and spread the crime wave.

Again and again. In October and November I drove by an early voting place in Minneapolis not too far from Skinny central.
Didn’t see one anyplace else.
Vote early, vote often. Down there nobody would question the validity of any voter.
I’d offer a compromise: Build a wall around California, and I’ll be content not to build any more along Mexico. I live in Arizona and feel more threatened by California than by Mexico...
Vermont IS New York. They all moved there so they could stop taking showers and spend every weekend at Lesbian weddings.
Mass has a R governor now. And Romney. And Weld. Just to name a couple.
They are moving into Texas by the droves-—turning it purple. They created CA, let them live in it.
Of the 36 counties in Oregon, only five went democratic in the last election. Portland sucks big time.
