I’m afraid you don’t understand. Trump WILL win the shutdown; but if he caves and goes with declaring a national emergency to build a wall the Dems will declare victory and throw up every possible judicial challenge delaying for months or more likely years.
He will not win the shutdown without giving them something to save face - and that could be millions of illegals given a path to citizenship.
