Attorneys for Paul Manafort, former Trump campaign chairman, submitted a poorly redacted filing on Tuesday revealing that Manafort shared polling data with a Russian operative during the campaign. Special counsel Robert Mueller submitted a filing in November accusing Manafort of breaching his plea agreement with the special counsel's office by lying to federal investigators.
The special counsel said in a memo describing Manafort's alleged wrongdoing in December that Manafort's lies to federal investigators were not simply "memory lapses."
According to that memo, Manafort lied about several things in breach of his plea deal, including his contact with Konstantin Kilimnik, who ran Manafort's office in Kiev. Kilimnik, who has ties to Russian intelligence, was indicted in June. Much of the information about Kilimnik was redacted in the filing, although Manafort admitted he conspired with Kilimnik to obstruct justice.

Manafort may be coerced into testifying to anything.

Manafort has a team of the nation’s top lawyers working for him around the clock and they are running circles around Mueller.

so any testimony he might make vs POTUS is totally worthless. Guy was a HUGE success and has blown it all ... alas, none of that would have come to light had he not agreed to join the Trump team in ‘16. The same crimes would be disregarded had he joined the Clinton team. The lesson is: don’t join the wrong team, or we WILL get you.
If you read the article the alleged items concealed by manafort sound like absolutely nothing.

Au contraire! Supports the theory that Mueller and the Deep State will go after anyone they possibly can who’s affiliated w/PDJT. The feds knew years ago all the ‘crimes’ they are now charging Manaford with but did nothing; once he joined Team Trump he became a target.
Manafort was fairly confident the jury would not find him guilty but when they did he was forced to fabricate stories to please Team Mueller to try not to spend the rest of his natural life in jail.

Big deal. Polling data is published in all the papers.
Mueller and his cabal intentionally allowed this information to get out. It is part of their ongoing PR campaign as their Russian collusion narrative is foundering. Charging the Russian lawyer at the Trump Tower meeting is also part of raising the declining profile of the investigation. They must show movement and some Russian connection so the Dems in the House can investigate.
