I have contemplated how my life would be "degraded" if Muslims were to magically deport themselves back overseas and vanish from our society.

The real answer is that it might be harder to find decent hummus and falafel. Maybe harder to catch a taxi when I fly somewhere, yet that is about it. There is not a Muslim anywhere who has ever meaningfully improved my life.
