Ginsburg Missing Supreme Court Arguments for 1st Time

My impression is that Roberts is covering for her by letting her "work from home"; am I the only one?

If the sentiment for retirement of the old or ailing member is strong enough, the Court's newest Justice is delegated to meet with that member and convey the view that retirement should be seriously considered.

Am I the only person wondering why it is the newest Justice who is delegated, and not the Chief Justice' responsibility? Maybe it is thought that this minimizes the chance of a long term animus coming into play?

I suspect that is one reason, but the newest Justice gets other menial tasks like brewing the coffee and answering the door in conference and getting the least desirable committee assignments. Most courts around the country also follow seniority in assigning perks and unappealing chores.

To a large degree, it is the job of the Chief Justice to ease burdens on members of the Court when possible.

R U kidding me? If Ginzzy was a Constitutionalist and a Conservative and the Democrats controlled congress there'd be an investigation and a movement to force her off the bench. The MSM would be going apoplectic.

This is joke and travesty. The woman can't even stay awake....

As I said here in the forum right after her cancer operation was announced... "this is the beginning of the end"

I don’t think embalming her counts though, although if they figured out some way of animating her corpse, I’m sure they’d do it.

I’ll bet Trump is ready to go the minute she’s gone.

He knows what he’s facing with this next one, what the stakes are and what the dems will try to do.

True enough. Is Ginzburg’s disability temporary or permanent? Ginzburg herself probably does not know. As she misses more arguments and conferences, the pressure will escalate, especially if she can be replaced before the end of this year.

Dems are haters while they pretend to be tolerant. TDS warped their minds and screwed America.

Considering the condition she’s been in while present, all the pictures of her with her head down napping, she must be in bad shape to be missing work.
