I’m not sure about the reporting accuracy, it probably is.

I’m not Catholic, but I do know the Coptic Patriarch of Egypt and President Sisi are very close. President Sisi has attended Christmas services in his Church.

Things Sisi says in public and in private are probably guarded to prevent insane responses. I don’t think the Muslims are any more for common ceremonies than Christians are.

That said, there is a lot of ground for Christian conversion in the Middle East. It is a dangerous step in many countries. I know some who are converts.

But these are strange times. When Israel and Saudi Arabia openly cooperate? That is amazing.

I know what is written about the final battles, we shall see where we really are approaching that.

El-Sisi asked attendees to stand for a moment of silence for police officer Mostafa Ebeid, who died late on Saturday while attempting to defuse an improvised explosive device (IED) found near a church in Nasr City, Cairo... The Egyptian president also receives Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, who is attending the ceremony along with other Arab leaders... Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi is set to inaugurate the new Nativity of Christ Cathedral in Egypt's New Administrative Capital, which occupies 30 percent of the 4.14-acre site allocated to the complex. The cathedral can accommodate 8,200 worshippers and the complex has been designed around a large central square. The administrative capital’s El-Fattah El-Alim Mosque, which holds more than 17,000 worshippers and is expected to be one of the largest mosques in the world, will also be inaugurated.
He's got a big job ahead of him, all he needs to do is ruthlessly exterminate the Islamofascist paramilitaries operating in Egypt and the Sinai, then make a concerted effort to sensibly improve the lot of Copts (the real descendants of ancient Kemet). Thanks Texas Fossil.
