I think individual states would have better luck. You could mandate via some state legislative effort that you lose your qualification to run for federal-type office after 12 years in DC. Or you could make it interesting by mandating that the Senator or House member you send up...can’t purchase or own a house in DC without losing his ability to run in the next election.
Well something needs to be done about all these bench sitters who cease to recall they serve the people as soon as they take their seat ..put their feet up...and just go for the ride!
