Conservative film critics bend over backwards to read conservatism into movies, and desperately try to find movies with a conservative theme. Only one movie on that list could remotely be considered “conservative” - Gosnell. One of them - Mary Poppins — most definitely isn’t and the rest are just entertainment. Conservatives need to stop trying to read conservatism into songs or movies or books. The entertainment world, for the most part, is not conservative. It probably won’t be in my lifetime. Articles like this are sad attempts to find something that isn’t there.

Bingo.

I find it pathetic the way conservatives bend reality to make some secularist or leftist out to be an ally.

In the past, they tried to make me believe Jake Tapper was a more respectable and legitimate journalist than other MSM. I did not buy it. I was right not to buy it.

They (e.g., Nolte) tried to paint Black Panther as somehow pro-Trump. Please.
