True - BUT, Japan’s whole economy was not 100% dependent on us like China is today.

For China to pull a “Pearl Harbor” sneak attack on 2 of our carries is certainly suicidal for two reasons: our counter-attack would destroy China and their economy would totally collapse, then their people would rebel and the Commies would lose control.

They are far too smart to commit suicide.
