Kollab studied at the Touro Medical School and was accepted at the Cleveland Clinic as a resident.
A medical resident at the Cleveland Clinic was fired after scores of her anti-Semitic social media posts were discovered.
Dr. Lara Kollab worked at the Clinic from July 2018 – September 2018. The Clinic fired her after the messages, which were posted over at least the last seven years, were flagged.
The Clinic on Monday in a statement confirmed Kollab’s firing, after reports about her posts began circulating online.
“This individual was employed as a supervised resident at our hospital from July to September 2018. She is no longer working at Cleveland Clinic. In no way do these beliefs reflect those of our organization. We fully embrace diversity, inclusion and a culture of safety and respect across our entire health system,” the statement said.
Her social media accounts were all closed as of late Monday.

Dr. Lara Kollab should be prevented from any further work in the field of medicine. Hate speech and the ability to discriminate medically for reasons of race and/or religion?
She should be prevented from practicing any form of medicine in the United States.Kolb does not have the ability to take the Hippocratic oath.

Damn fool! She hopefully will also lose her license to practice medicine for claiming she would purposely give wrong meds to a group she doesn’t like (hates). That’s absolute purposeful malpractice. AND she will probably still be stuck with several hundred thousand $ of student loans.
Why didn’t they fire her in 2012?

What IS important is that deliberately giving the wrong meds is grounds for dismissal, WHATEVER your beliefs may be.
Suppose your employer believed only "dark souls" post on FR? (This is actually a significant possibility).
Are you willing to lose your job over thoughts instead of actions?
This person should have been dismissed for committing malpractice, and arguably a crime, NOT because Cleveland Clinic does not share her beliefs.
I just want them to be qualified, I really don’t care where they’re from.
If she expressed the desire to maliciously mis medicate patients six years ago, and they just discovered it, where is the ensuing investigation for hate crimes potentially committed during her residency? Where are the attorneys that should be following the ambulance for the malpractice suits, that should include the hospital?
