Former CIA Director John Brennan said Monday it was his "sincere hope" that enough Republicans would abandon President Trump in 2019 after learning of what he called his "malfeasance and corruption."
"It is my sincere hope that the forthcoming exposure of your malfeasance & corruption will convince enough Republicans to abandon you in 2019," Brennan tweeted. "We have had enough of your whining from the White House. We need an actual leader—our Nation’s future is at stake."
Brennan quoted a tweet from Trump where he defended his decision to withdraw U.S. troops from Syria. Trump claimed that any other leader would have been widely praised for the move.
"I am the only person in America who could say that, 'I’m bringing our great troops back home, with victory,' and get BAD press," Trump said early Monday morning. "It is Fake News and Pundits who have FAILED for years that are doing the complaining. If I stayed in Endless Wars forever, they would still be unhappy!"
it was one of a number of tweets from Trump on Monday defending the controversial decision. Among other things, Trump said that he campaigned on withdrawing from Syria "and other places," and that he was against "never ending wars."
Trump abruptly announced earlier this month that he would withdraw troops from Syria, declaring that ISIS had been defeated in the region. He has since said that the extremist group is "mostly" wiped out.
Defense Secretary Jim Mattis announced that he would resign shortly after the announcement. Many GOP and Democratic lawmakers have voiced strong opposition to the move.
Brennan, a frequent Trump critic, said on Dec. 20 that Trump's move to withdraw troops was an example of how "Trump’s impulsive and self-satisfying 'gut'" present a danger to U.S. national security."
Trump revoked Brennan's security clearance earlier this year.
It would be a lot tougher to get this pap published if these crooks were sitting in GITMO!

John Brennan, the asshat who voted for Gus Hall for pres. The same Gus Hall who had members of CPUSA and the SWP put posters up all over NYC claiming John Lennon was killed by the CIA. They had solid proof that the CIA kidnapped David Chapman, implanted a chip in his butt and programmed him to do the deed.
Trump is still very popular among GOP voters. If any GOP in congress votes to impeach it convict Trump, they will be lucky to get out DC untouched.
The Deep state’s most effective tactic however is still the blackmailing Trump into backing off his promises on the wall and indictments. The idea is to reduce base support.
All decent Americans hope 2019 is the year all the corrupt dem pols are indicted and imprisoned for life.

Brennan needs to be formally charged with corruption and malfeasance. When found guilty he must be imprisoned for life or shot by firing squad.
If only he'd kept quiet and didn't undertake any further anti-American activities since then, but that didn't happen, did it?
