The former top commander of U.S. and international forces in Afghanistan, retired four-star Army Gen. Stanley McChrystal, criticized President Donald Trump's behavior and handling of the presidency, saying the commander-in-chief is dishonest and immoral.

“I don’t think he tells the truth,” McChrystal said in an exclusive interview on “This Week” when asked by Co-Anchor Martha Raddatz if he believes the president is a liar.

“Is Trump immoral, in your view?” Raddatz asked.

“I think he is,” he said.

General Mcrystal, you are a dishonest, sack of $hit.

Keep using your top secret security clearance to leak more classified info to the press....

Whoops!

Yes, we know that’s what you and the deep state are doing with your security clearances.

Time to prosecute leakers!

I’m guessing Mcrystal is a prime candidate.

"Wasn’t Martha Ratshit the one weeping on TV for Hillary’s loss?"

She was tearing up and trying hard to hide it.

Someone who filed an amicus brief (DeBoer v. Snyder) supporting homosexual marriage, “one of us”?

Clinton wondered why he had an army if he couldn’t use it.
So yeah, maybe if we didn’t have one we’d be less likely to get stuck for decades in some shithole country.

No less immoral than not having the moral courage to tell the military and civilian leadership that Afghanistan is not a winnable campaign, particularly with Special Forces as the lead and an unwillingness to take on Pakistan's lack of interest in a strong Afghani government, and salafist Islam.

So STFU Stanley.

In his current capacity, what could possibly be his “need to know” anything?

Our Army is running around the world defending borders and can’t deign to defend ours. F them. F the DOD. F the army. Who needs them. We need the Marines and the Navy. That’s it.

Not the Air Force? It’d be a bit difficult to take down enemy bombers without one.

He was relieved of his command and retired for disloyal comments about his commander in chief. Maybe the whole thing was a set up to try to make BO look manly.

Remember when women who looked like Martha Raddatz couldn’t get a job as a news reader or television reporter on national news? (Not saying it was right...just reminiscing).

my understanding is we have fighter jets in the marines and navy.

We only need an army with planes and ships included. The marines can be the army’s infantry and run the boot camps.

Give the money to the Navy. There are Navy and Marine Air stations all over N.A. If the Army isn’t going to defend us then they have no mission.

I just read the whole article.

While it is obvious that the General personally dislikes the President, there is no substantiation of the headline claim that Trump is a liar.

It has been my experience that most people who declare that someone is a liar are making a statement of personal judgement based more on feelings than fact. Someone you don’t like is more likely to considered a liar. If someone you like lies, you are more likely to defend them, saying they were misunderstood or that they had justification for their lies.

Thus Democrats defend (or ignore) such canards as “if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor” and “I did not have sex with that woman.”
