I am a federal worker, full time air national guard, most that I work with did, in fact, vote for Pres Trump, don't equate the swamp creatures in DC with all of us. What will be interesting, not really I know what will happen, is if the media will report the no pay increases under Obama. Not many and only a few percent. The idea that ALL of us are over paid, well if you want my job, be prepared to make over a dozens of trips to sandland

With the exception, to my mind anyway, of military service personnel, it doesn’t matter how good the rest of the federal employees are. In aggregate, they are unaffordable. They have priced themselves out of the market.
