my letter to assistant professor carter:

support for hard brexit cuts across economic, class and geographic lines. it is simply about preserving national sovereignty and representation at the polling booth— control over one’s destiny at the national level.

this is different from, say, shopping for a more expensive purse at harrod’s.

do you truly understand what you are talking about?? it sounds as if you are totally uninformed on world politics, or horribly biased in favor of one world government. i would offhand guess both are true, in which case you have my profound pity. i hope you never discover the full consequences of losing national sovereignty. it can be rather unpleasant— especially for women. amazing. i consider myself fortunate that i never attended unh. i hope you can reconnect with the real world sometime in the near future instead of staying in your ivory tower.

My dad graduated from there in 1954 in electrical engineering. He would be rolling over in his grave now if he knew what garbage they were spewing out.
