The mayor of Tijuana, Mexico, revealed during an interview with a documentary filmmaker on Thursday just how much the migrant caravan is costing the city each day.
Juan Manuel Gastelum, 64, spoke to Charlie Minn and the details of the interview were reported by Shelby Montgomery of ABC-7 KVIA.
Gastelum announced that the caravan is hitting us hard. Its costing us 550,000 pesos a day. In American dollars, that is the equivalent of approximately $28,000.
In an interview with Milenio Television last month, Gastelum said, Tijuana is a city of immigrants, but we dont want them in this way. It was different with the Haitians, they carried papers, they were in order. It wasnt a horde, pardon the expression.

I'm still wondering where those thousand or so Ozark Trail dome tents came from all of the sudden.

Gastelum announced that the caravan is hitting us hard. Its costing us 550,000 pesos a day. In American dollars, that is the equivalent of approximately $28,000. In America, that cost would be 20X as much. We have the most expensive government in the world.

But there is some truth in that. It doesn’t cost Hollywood liberal and politicians anything. Just the working class fools. And who cares about us.

“We have the most expensive government in the world.” Not right now according to the msm. Millions of fed workers are being foreclosed on because of evil orange man and his shutdown.

Hey Obrador! You have a Federal Police force ... collect these pendejos and ship 'em south. Secure YOUR southern border.
Then clean up your country, and quit violating OUR southern border.

That $28,000 per day is only for about 4,000 without welfare, food stamps, education costs, incarceration, garbage collection and free medical. That gives an idea of the cost to the American taxpayer for 12 to 20 million in the US.
American voters are such suckers.

Add the new 15,000 on their way to the existing bunch left and they will tear down the fence. Trump must realize that thousands will cross the border and catch and release will be communists Democrat voters. Close the damn border until Trump gets the 25 billion or America is finished. Build the damn wall not and quit babying around like sick kids.
To: rktman
How could this be?? Our Politicians continually tell us they are a Major Economic Benefit?? Does crossing the Border really change their value to a society and country??

"REI" Knowing the lib politics of REI, that would be my bet. Even if they don't have an outlet near the border, I'm sure they would have been glad to send a truck from Seattle and include plenty of other gear too.
