I thought the plan was they would stay in Mexico until their cases asylum hearings!????
Ah, now it makes some sense. Since it is a sanctuary city and won’t communicate with ICE, why should ICE communicate with them?
Be careful what you ask for - you just might get it.
The problem is, this costs all of us. They won’t just stay there they’ll move outward and all their social service handouts will continue to cost us dearly
Take some to LA, Philly, spread the wealth. Drop a couple hundred at Gracie Mansion. At least a thousand on Rodeo Drive.
Live with your decisions, and those of your judges. They should have been deported but that was blocked by judges.
There are literally thousands of extremely wealthy people on the West side of Los Angeles that are all in favor of these people coming in will nilly, Drop them off in Beverly Hills!!
They were already in the US, illegally!
Current law restricts how long they can be kept in custody, and IIRC, they are given a “show up in court” date and released on their own recognizance.
IIRC, less than 10% of them do show up for their “amnesty” hearing. They just ignore the courts!

So it’s not enough they hit the jackpot. We’re supposed to ‘assist’ them after they’ve broken our laws and made it in to stay.
Good for ICE. Drop them off in the middle of nowhere and tell them....you’re on your own.
