That's right! It was our Air Force that drove the S Vietnamese boat people to escape.

Before the fall of the Republic of Vietnam in 1975 there were NO boat people, zero, zip, nada.
It was the horrors of communist rule that drove South Vietnamese to flee by any means possible. Those who made it here were grateful to be alive & in America and the vast majority have been successful productive citizens.
In my local dry cleaner they display the South Vietnamese flag out of nostalgia, not dual loyalty.
So why are these Vietnamese being deported back to communist Vietnam now? Sounds like an Obama practice; pretty much a death sentence intended to punish those who criticize communism.
