They should reconsider whose blood would be spilled in an attempted coup against the POTUS.

None of the copy plotters have suffered a scratch so far, and the outcome is very much in doubt.

Recalling an army to home without victory has triggered many a coup, and I have no reason to believe at this point that we are immune.

I wish I had more confidence in Pence.

So you don’t see a win over Isis in Iraq or Syria? What would a win look like in your opinion? As for Afghanistan, there will never be a win. You could stay there a 100 years. A 1000. Would make no difference. Wasted a lot of treasure in terms of money and lives due to the apparatchnick fantasy you could win there. All you will be able to do is punish future Taliban and what other groups that commit actions directed at Americans in Afghanistan, or outside its borders. But you will never claim a win there. Not in the sense of a win over Germany and Japan
