“The Sunday Morning Bray”, by Bray!

Then said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burned with fire: come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach. Nehemiah 2:17

How are we ever going to survive this shutdown? How will we live without the mail service or banking let alone the traffic lights not working or the sun stopping shining? None of that occurs? You mean Chuck and Dingbat are only giving half of the leaches in the District of Corruption a paid vacation? Well then we may as well give them a month or two and let America know who in their cesspool is fighting for them and who is fighting for the swamp.

This is far more than a fight over the wall, this is Donald Trump and half his Party listening to their voters and the other dictating to theirs and this is going to reveal who is who. You would have to think some of the DNC has to question the wisdom of allowing millions of low skilled, uneducated,. criminal Mexicans into our country without any identification. This is a bad idea no matter how much you want to stuff the ballot box or cheaply pick the crops from the Repub side.

President Trump needs to bring this to the nation and finally have a real debate about the positives and negatives of having cheap labor from Mexicans in America. Yes, there is a need for low skilled workers and we have stopped having enough children to fill those needs or will not allow American kids to do menial work anymore even if they wanted to, so there is a real need. Even though we have that need there needs to be a way to monitor who comes into this country and who does not which is why you control your border with a wall.

The cult of Marxism and their mouthpiece in the Three Pillars of Propaganda (Academia, Big Media and the DNC) are going to working overtime to tell people America does not need a border. They are going to have to convince their brain-dead followers how a few thousand rapes and murders is a good thing in the name of diversity and tolerance. Being raped and murdered is a good thing if it is for the good of the Party.

The longer this goes on and the more information escapes to the people about making sure the right people come in and eventually the Three Pillars are going to run out of snarky clichés for their side. The last thing they want is Americans really asking what workers are getting from cheaper labor, drug runners and sex traffickers. If you didn’t have illegal labor you wouldn’t need minimum wage laws.

This really has nothing to do with the wall or will be the last time the gummit is going to be shut down, Dingbat will see to that with her Marxist budget requests. The stock market has tanked ever since she took over the House almost to the day.

Businesses know she will be doing everything under her power to stop this recovery and turn America back down to the Communist Utopia she enjoyed under Barack where the Inner Circle lives the life of luxury and the Outer Circles live in misery, as slaves to her should.

The markets are expecting events like this Wall battle which will spread to the pipeline battles, the war on coal and oil as well as the shutting down of loans for cars and houses. She will be punishing all of her capitalist enemies for the crime of creating jobs.

We are heading back to investigating every bank transaction as well as the curtailing of fracking and more regulations across the country. This will not only shut down most business and hopefully crash the economy, but more importantly force the businesses to bribe Nazi Pelosi and her Party to return them to the lives they are accustomed. Rumor has it she was down to her last $50 million and in real risk of bankruptcy if they did not take back the House, tragic. Now she is getting checks from China and the Saudis with promises galore.

The Wall has now become a symbol of what America wants to become. Does it want to continue to be the Marxist experiment which has not worked over the last 70 years since FDR or does it want to try a new way? Does it want to bring in more unskilled workers filled with murderers and rapists or does it want to innovate and create a new world based on cheap energy and creativity? Does it want to continue down the path which President Trump is leading us out of the longest Recession in our histoir, or do we want to go back and be slaves of Socialism? These are what this Mexican Standoff is really about and we have one person fighting alone against Socialists in both Parties wanting to feed the District of Corruption so they get their Dacha on the lake.

This measly $5 Billion is what all of those Tea Party and MAGA rallies were about. Do we continue down the path of Shyster Schumer and his Dingbat or do we try a new path which has never been tried? This is the path of the founders and America spirit where you unleash capitalism with full employment and minimal taxes.

This is where you give all of those in the District of Communism a permanent vacation from their $150K make work and shrink this giant boondoggle. How would they like people flooding their city willing to work for a turd the price?

Finally, it is time to divest of all the Western land DC has stockpiled illegally and sell it to the people. Why does this country control fifty percent of the West when they were supposed to have the states sell the land to the people when they became states?

There is enough value in the western states to retire the debt twice over and have a whole new tax resource as well as watching the economy explode as you could sell resources around the world. It would also eliminate many of these devastating forest fires and make housing costs lower as well as having land available to build your own destination resort.

The Wall represents far more than are we going to let rapists, murderers and drug traffickers into our country. It symbolizes way more than are we going to let the Dems continue to steal elections though illegal voters and fraud, it asks are we going to be America or the Socialist Continent of America.

Are we going to continue on this path of America is the cause of all the world’s problems or is America the solution? The Three Pillars need to convince their followers this country is the problem and deserves more punishment while President Trump has to use his pulpit to explain how America has an opportunity to lead and grow the world on a new path of prosperity for Americans.

This is a giant task as he takes on Moscow on the Potomac which is so entrenched in their cushy positions of power. Every person in the Three Pillars has been richly rewarded or has fame and notoriety or both so they are fighting for their pampered lives in this battle. They are all working together to end this outsider who is the biggest threat to their lifestyles they have had since Reagan only ten times worse since he plays by their rules better than they do. Now he has to win ugly. Repubs have two choices, win ugly or lose graciously and DC is used to a gracious loser which is the main reason they hate Trump.

The shutdown is going to shine the spotlight on the Wall as well as the massive corruption surrounding it. It is going to have regular people reevaluating the wisdom of flooding this country with low skilled and high criminal types as we saw with the caravan. Do regular people want dozens or hundreds of Barack sponsored caravans flooding the country or would they rather have them stopped by a wall and sent back to their countries? This is actually a pretty easy argument and will expose Chucky and Dingbat for the dirty politicians they are. Do you want to flood this country with more poor people or does America have enough poor and uneducated now?

This is a discussion America needs to have. Does Chuck and Dingbat keep their precious gummit shut down over a measly $5 Billion or do they give up this pocket change to get it running again? Will the average American even notice it is shut down or will anyone outside of DC even care? Shut it down for months or years Mr President and take this argument directly to the people. You do and you will win in a landslide next election.

Pray America wakes

Note: The above opinion is not necessarily my own, but FReeper Bray’s. If you wish to discuss this, please ping Bray.

My question is which of. McConnell or Schumuk will break first?

McConnell will have to be shown something very nasty will happen to him unless he gets Schumer to fold. I am not sure what is but I’d suspect it is nearing time for some of those 65,000 sealed indictments to be used as leverage.

Great stuff bray and a big Merry Christmas to everyone here and beyond!

Seems what the wall thing is all about is more Art of the Deal at least accd. to FNC yesterday.

FNC spokespeople are claiming that it's all about funding the wall somewhere between 1.6 and 2.1 billion. The closer the hard lefties get to the 2.1 billion the more likely a deal will be made.

Trump will never give up on the wall neither will American people. Will he be forced to take what he can get from time to time, probably, but give up, never.

All we need do is point out that the rats don't care about border security. All they want is more third world voters they can buy.

Rats don't care about drugs, of all sorts coming across the border, terrorists coming in, MS 13,other gang members, thousands of anchor baby moms who will swell welfare rolls up to Cloward Piven levels and so many other disasters that stem from open borders.

As long as we hold the rats feet to the border wall fire we win they lose.

What the heck is Little Bobbie Corker doing on any show talking about anything that affects We The People. Stick a fork in him, he is DONE. Go to your new home and I hope it is not Tennessee. Thank goodness Marsha Blackburn will now be representing us instead of self serving Corker.

Yeah, up a little early.

I normally don’t watch much TV but there was a tsunami in Indonesia so I turned on the TV to watch coverage.

Stupidly I watched an ABC affiliate.

I say stupidly because ABC News EVEN made that political.

Says reporter:

“US government had no warning issued due to the government shutdown.”

WTF? No, just no.

First of all, the tsunami was in the Sunda Strait, in Indonesia, caused by a volcano, and the whole area is surrounded by many islands, ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE EARTH, where the USA has no jurisdiction nor is it dangerous to any USA land.

Just unbelievable, trying to tie in a disaster where perhaps thousands have just been killed, with politics of the USA, because Trump.

Neither has to—nor wants to.

They just have to hold out to the new Congress, when the Dem House won’t put them in such a position.

Also heard an ABC News reporterette start to cover the shutdown, and with a pissed off look on her face, went on about how Pres. Trump said Mexico would pay for the Wall.

I turned it off at this point.

I am here this morning. I did not do a daily post last week nor will I do so next week.

Time off....batteries re-charged.

And, of course, am watching this border thing with a bit of rapture.

I want to ask God....”Why won’t my government put up a wall, not to deny immigrants entrance, but to exercise some kind of control over who enters?”

Why is Schumer and lying Pelosi getting away with this?

Anyway, will be around today.....Merry Christmas to all.

Yes, there is a need for low skilled workers and we have stopped having enough children to fill those needs or will not allow American kids to do menial work anymore even if they wanted to, so there is a real need.

It is indeed discouraging to hear respected FReepers buying into the open border, corporate theology that America needs more unskilled/low-skilled workers. The facts say otherwise. There is a surplus of such workers, which is why wages have been stagnant or declined since 1969 using inflation adjusted dollars.

The Employment Situation of Immigrants and Natives in the First Quarter of 2018

While the unemployment rate has improved significantly in recent years, the official unemployment rate includes only those who have looked for a job in the last four weeks. It does not include those of working-age who have dropped out of the labor force entirely — neither working nor looking for work. (Figures do not include those in prison.) The labor force participation rate has not returned to pre-2007 recession levels and, relative to 2000, the rate looks even worse. Things are particularly bad for those without a college education. The problem is not confined to one area of the country; in virtually every state, labor force participation is lower in 2018 than in 2007 or 2000 among the less-educated.

Among Native-Born Americans:

The overall unemployment rate for natives in the first quarter of 2018 was 4.4 percent, much lower than at the peak of the Great Recession. However, the overall unemployment rate obscures the low labor force participation rate, especially among those without a college education.

There has been a long-term decline in the labor force participation rate of working-age (18 to 65) natives without a bachelor's degree. Only 70 percent of natives in this group were in the labor force in the first quarter of 2018; in 2007, before the recession, it was 73.8 percent, and in the first quarter of 2000 it was 76.1 percent.

The labor force participation rate of natives without a college degree has shown no meaningful improvement in recent years. For example, in the first quarter of 2012 it was actually slightly better than it was in the first quarter of 2018.

The decline in labor force participation among those without a bachelor's degree is even more profound when it is measured relative to those who are more educated.

In the first quarter of 2018, 70 percent of natives without a bachelor's degree were in the labor force, compared to 85.8 percent of those with a bachelor's degree — a 15.8 percentage-point difference. In the first quarter of 2007, the gap was 12.4 percentage points, and in the first quarter of 2000 the gap was 11.7 percentage points.

In 48 states plus the District of Columbia, labor force participation of natives without a college degree was lower in the first quarter of 2018 than the same quarter in 2007. The same is true comparing 2000 to 2018.

Among Immigrants:

Working-age immigrants without a college education also have not fared well since the recession. Unlike the labor force participation of natives, immigrants without a college education did improve their situation between 2000 and 2007. But it has not returned to 2007 levels. Also like natives, there has been no meaningful progress in the last few years.

In the first quarter of 2018, the labor force participation rate of immigrants (18 to 65) without a bachelor's degree was 71.9 percent, somewhat better than that of natives, but still below their rate of 73.4 percent in the first quarter of 2007.

Immigrants and Natives Not in the Labor Force:

In the first quarter of 2018, there were a total of 50.1 million immigrants and natives ages 18 to 65 not in the labor force, up from 43.3 million in 2007 and 37.2 million in 2000.

Of the 50.1 million currently not in the labor force, 39.9 million (80 percent) do not have a bachelor's degree.

The above figures do not include the unemployed, who are considered to be part of the labor force because, although they are not working, they are looking for work. There were almost seven million unemployed immigrants and natives in the first quarter of this year; more than three-fourths of the unemployed do not have a bachelor's degree.

There Are No Jobs Americans Won’t Do A detailed look at immigrants (legal and illegal) and natives across occupations

Notable findings:

Of the 474 civilian occupations, only six are majority immigrant (legal and illegal). These six occupations account for 1 percent of the total U.S. workforce. Moreover, native-born Americans still comprise 46 percent of workers in these occupations.

There are no occupations in the United States in which a majority of workers are illegal immigrants.

Illegal immigrants work mostly in construction, cleaning, maintenance, food service, garment manufacturing, and agricultural occupations. However, the majority of workers even in these areas are either native-born or legal immigrants.

Only 4 percent of illegal immigrants and 2 percent of all immigrants do farm work. Immigrants (legal and illegal) do make up a large share of agricultural workers — accounting for half or more of some types of farm laborers — but all agricultural workers together constitute less than 1 percent of the American work force.

To be continued...
