So...if this Gubmint shutdown...as I've read...represents merely a 25% reduction in functioning services/departments/agencies...isn't this a really good step towrds the smaller/limited Gubmint we've all been wanting for so long?

If so, I say, "Let's dig in!"

Cut out all non-essential cash flows. Open positions, cut them. All money spent in the last fiscal month, if it equals 25% of the fiscal year, gets cut and from the next budget. Cut all government contracts by family members of Democrats and audit their books. And every department will cut their budget by a mandatory 10%.

There’s the border financing in a nutshell.
