“We have 300 million people. How many more do we need?”

The teachers’ unions’ political arm, the Democratic Party, is a well-oiled machine that transfers taxpayer dollars to its pet causes. Rather than downsize to deal with a graying population, they will traffick minors here to keep “clients” in the seats - remember the “unaccompanied minors” at out southern border? Legally you wouldn’t let them do anything anywhere - but it was “compassionate” to simply let them into our country?

We have plenty of babies in our delivery rooms here in NJ; most aren’t Americans.

Automation and unemployed low-skilled American workers have made Third Worlders unnecessary; these people are being imported to keep classrooms and housing occupied as CONSUMERS, not workers. They are a “taker” class completely funded by the struggling “maker” class, many of whom insist they can’t afford families because they are taxed for the imported ones.

I agree that they blame it on falling birth rates. But that doesn’t mean that’s the reason. It is the Brookings Institute after all. They won’t admit that immigration has any measurable impact on anything.

I wouldn’t argue with that.

This is a one-year figure, reflecting slower growth between July 2017 and July 2018.

The US population has increased by 17 million since the 2010 census, and by 45 million since the 2000 census.

Including illegals, the actual figures are probably higher.
